The
College
of
Physiotherapists
of New Brunswick (CPTNB) is a
not-for-profit organization with the legislated mandate to regulate
the practice of physiotherapy in the public
interest. To use the title “physiotherapist” or
“physical therapist” or to provide physiotherapy services you
must be registered with the CPTNB.
Physiotherapists practise within
a broad and dynamic scope by which they can provide comprehensive
care. Similarly, the CPTNB takes a comprehensive approach to protecting the public.
By ensuring that physiotherapists meet educational standards and are
competent and sensitive to the needs of their patients, the College
sets the standard for the delivery of safe, effective and ethical
services by physiotherapists.
